Take a victory liner bus or any bus that is going to iba zambales , then drop off to Cabangan Municipal Hall for 400 pesos ( $ 8 ) , Transportation rates Varies from what place you originated from . then take a tricycle for another 100 pesos ( $2 ) to get to the beach resort.
It was february 14 when i visited Boracay de cavite resort it was a quick day trip tour , at first i didnt expect that there is a beautiful beach resort located nearby so me and my family gave it a try .
During our visit i right away fell inlove with the place , going there you have to go through the zigzag road of ternate while enjoying the breathtaking view of the mountain. I would say it’s breathtaking because i love mountains.
The part 1 of my vlog on our way to the beach this is the view that you can expect. https://youtu.be/gN_QLK0rVwk
The resort is located inside the Gregorio Lim Marine Base, this beach is for daytour only and beach hours starts from 7am to 5pm. This was the rules they have during my visit it could change from time to time . The entrance feeis 100 pesos ( $2 ) each person but since my senior citizen dad was with us they gave us a senior citizen discount from the total amount that we have to pay.
They have few choices of cottages over there didnt really know much about cottages because we only rented the one that’s on the back side for 350 pesos ( $5 ) if you want the beach front cottages you will probably end up paying a little bit more .
The beach is not that big. The sand is not that white , the water is not that blue but it was crystal clear.
WHAT TO EXPECT :
As you can see in the picture the sand is off white. It’s not as white as Boracay Beach. Lower your expectations.
• Its better if you bring your own vehicle beacuse public transportation is not accessible . Beach is inside the military camp and was really far from the main road.
• Bring your own foods , drinks, and any other cooking stuff as there is no restaurants inside the cove.
• They have a little.sari – sari store inside the cove
Lower your expectations about the restrooms, it could be dirty and no lights. ( shower and comfort room are not well maintained ).
• Swim only on the right side of the beach ,left side is a no for me because water from comfort rooms goes to the sea.
• Bonfire is not allowed
• Cover your foods as big flies will come
• Resort has a limited rooms and cottages
• Sometimes Beach resort is close due to military training reasons.
• Never feed the monkey’s yall
They will stop you in the middle of the road. The entire family is here , dont feed them its not allowed.
• Go there early so you get to enjoy the place
All in all beach is a really nice place to go to for a quick day trip, Without spending so much money.
DIRECTIONS:
• Rode a car from Manila and took Cavitex all the way to Ternate town proper.
• Follow the road signs to Hamilo Coast and after all the zigs and zags, ups and downs of the roads while sight-seeing Philippine Marines training, you will see the Gregorio Lim Marine Base Camp
• And follow the signs to the beach. It will take around 13 minutes from the gate to the beach.
• To go there via public transportation especially when you’re not with kids and you don’t bring so much baggage.
Take any bus to Ternate (around PHP150) and ride a tricycle to the beach! (PHP100). But if you have your own vehicle much better
